One library
Index the folders you choose, with tags, embedded artwork and lyrics. Sort, search and jump back into anything you have played before.
Windows 10 & 11 · 64-bit · Free
Suura plays the files you already own and the links you paste in — one library, one queue, one search box.
Open source under MIT. No account, no telemetry.
Why Suura
No feed to scroll, no recommendations to train, no account to create. Open it, find your music, press play.
Index the folders you choose, with tags, embedded artwork and lyrics. Sort, search and jump back into anything you have played before.
Paste a video, playlist, album or mix and play it immediately through yt-dlp. Streaming
is the default; saving is a choice you make.
Close the window and the queue is still there. A mini player, tray controls and media keys keep the music within reach.
A 10-band equalizer with presets, ReplayGain volume normalization and gapless playback, without a plugin in sight.
No account, no analytics, no background uploads. Crash reports are local, opt-in and off by default.
Your files are never moved, renamed or uploaded. Cache a stream or save a track only when you ask, in the format you pick.
Download
Free and open source, for Windows 10 and 11 on 64-bit. It installs for your user only, so there is no administrator prompt.
Early pre-release: behaviour and the database schema may change between minor versions. An upgrade keeps your library.
It installs to %LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs\Suura and adds a Start-menu shortcut.
The build is not code-signed yet. Choose More info → Run anyway.
